Yoga Retreat

GENTLE LIVING ♡ TALES AND LEGENDS ♡ POETRY OF THE BODY

IN A RYOKAN IN NORMANDY
1H45 FROM PARIS

In a ryokan nestled in the heart of Normandy, treat yourself to an inner journey of breath, movement and silence. A suspended moment to return to the heart of yourself, guided by your body and lulled by the softness of autumn.

This retreat is a cocoon of slowness and poetry, an invitation to explore the thousand ways you can inhabit your body differently - through yoga, meditation, rest, and the simple luxury of doing nothing.

Creative Vinyasa, deep Yin, meditation, sound bath, forest bath...
An inner journey punctuated by movement and stillness, tales and calm, the warmth of the place and the beauty of simplicity.

THE YOGA PRACTICES

A journey through the body, the breath, and the imagination.

Vinyasa Yoga
A fluid and dynamic style, where movement weaves with the rhythm of the breath. Here, Vinyasa becomes a sensitive playground — creative, poetic, and deeply embodied. Each practice is an exploration, a way to reconnect with yourself, to discover new pathways in the body, to expand inner space, to feel rather than perform. An art of living movement, where body and mind engage in quiet dialogue.

Yin Yoga
A gentle and meditative practice, where postures are held in stillness for several minutes. Guided by mystical stories drawn from yogic tradition, these sessions invite us to journey beyond form. It’s a time of deep release and subtle listening, where ancient stories resonate through the body like quiet echoes.

The practices will be long, immersive, and complete, weaving together three essential branches of traditional yoga:
Asana (postures)
Pranayama (breathwork)
Dhyana (meditation)

A return to the essence of yoga: presence, attention, and gentle transformation.

THE VENUE

A rare place, suspended between sky, forest, and stillness.
We will share this retreat in a ryokan-inspired haven nestled in the Normandy countryside, just 1h45 from Paris —
a serene bubble inspired by Japan, where every detail invites presence.

Light-filled rooms with clean lines, opening onto the garden.
Natural and soothing materials, minimalist architecture that breathes.
An elegant yoga room and a peaceful dojo, both surrounded by greenery.

An infrared sauna with a view.
Spaces designed to slow down, to feel.

Here, everything brings us back to what truly matters.
We wake up with soft morning light, walk barefoot, breathe deeper.
A place both delicate and deeply restoring — a quiet revelation.

A world apart, yet close.
A place to feel far away...
and profoundly at home.

THE BEDROOMS

Each room is a haven — a quiet alcove of light and calm.
Spacious, minimal and warm, they are designed as gentle cocoons:

– Two separate beds to preserve everyone’s comfort and privacy
– A large bay window opens the space to light and the garden
– Natural materials, soft textures, Japanese-inspired lines to soothe the senses
– Private bathroom and toilet in every room

A space to return to yourself, to rest, to dream.
A quiet extension of the practice — a soft refuge between shared moments.
